Liane Gondrum to strengthen the institutional fund management at KanAm Grund Group

KanAm Grund Group to strengthen the institutional fund management with the addition of Liane Gondrum. From 1st March real estate economist Liane Gondrum will be Director Fund Management, responsible for the management of the KanAm Grund Group’s real estate special funds, the strategic development of fund planning and the operational implementation of fund-related measures.  Ms Gondrum, who has years of experience in positions such as Head of Institutional Sales and Managing Director at companies managing special funds in this area, is going to further develop and broaden the extraordinary growth in this section of KanAm Grund Group.

In 2019 the institutional investment business already made up around 75 percent of KanAm Grund Group’s over 50 individual transactions in Germany and Europe, totaling over 2 billion euros. In addition, new real estate funds, specifically adapted to client requirements, such as the Fokus Norddeutschland fund for institutional investors from the banking sector, were launched. The KanAm Grund German Development Fonds, specializing in the particular category of real estate development projects, took off with a total of 6 projects in 2019. Moreover, KanAm Grund Group was able to successfully implement prestigious projects for German and international real estate investors in Edinburgh and Munich.

Before joining KanAm Grund Group, Ms Liane Gondrum worked for companies such as Principal Real Estate Spezialfondsgesellschaft, Avia Rent and Allianz Global Investors mbH. After training as an apprentice in business administration and commerce and completing accountant courses, Ms Liane Gondrum acquired a degree in Real Estate Economy from the Akademie der Immobilienwirtschaft in Stuttgart.
