Letting success for the KanAm Grund Group: Eversheds Sutherland extends lease at “One Wood Street”, London EC2

Eversheds Sutherland has agreed to regear its lease on 15,650 sq m. of offices at “One Wood Street”, London EC2. The new lease will see it remain in occupation long term. The global law firm has been a tenant of the property since 2007. “One Wood Street” is managed through a specialized institutional real estate fund of the KanAm Grund Group since 2017. The building has a total rental area of 17,000 sq m. and occupies a prime location in the heart of the City of London.

At One Wood Street, the asset’s energy performance has been significantly improved by KanAm Grund Group's Asset Management team. Following a review and resulting energy optimization of key areas in the building, the team commissioned a new audit of the property resulting in an enhanced Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) futureproofing the building and ensuring it will continue to operate well beyond the 2030 deadline for non-domestic buildings to have an EPC ‘B’ rating or higher. Eversheds Sutherland are also set to benefit from a building which will demonstrate a high level of sustainability long-term.
