KanAm Grund Group nominated for two Scope Awards

KanAm Grund Group is once again one of the nominees for the Scope Award, after having been named Best Asset Manager in the "Retail Real Estate Europe" category last year. This year, the internationally renowned Scope rating agency nominated the Frankfurt-based KanAm Grund Group as "Best Asset Manager" in the "Institutional Real Estate Germany" and "Retail Real Estate Europe" categories. According to Scope, nominations and awards are given to the best asset managers of mutual and institutional fund products in the alternative investments field. Evaluation criteria include innovative strength, investment management, operational asset management, track record, transparency and ESG. The awards ceremony for 2021 will take place on November 18.
The Scope Alternative Investment Awards can look back on a history of more than 10 years and have been presented since 2005. KanAm Grund Group has already won three awards in the categories "Retail Real Estate Europe," "Real Estate/Portfolio Construction," and "Management Performance/Transparency," as well as receiving eight nominations. According to the rating agency, its Scope Awards are the most established and distinguished awards presented to fund and asset managers in German-speaking countries – for equity bonds and mixed funds (Scope Investment Awards) as well as for tangible assets and alternative investments (Scope Alternative Investment Awards). They say, while other market awards focus exclusively on quantitative criteria, the Scope Awards also take qualitative criteria into consideration. And although attention to qualitative factors makes analysis considerably more time-consuming, it also allows for forward-looking statements to be made regarding the quality of funds and managers.
