KanAm Grund Group extends its European network with a branch office in Madrid

KanAm Grund Group opened a branch office in Madrid. With three newly established branch offices in Madrid, London and Dublin in addition to offices in Paris und Luxembourg, KanAm Grund Group is making progress with the expansion of its Europe-wide platform and the establishment of a decentralized asset management division.

The new KanAm Grund Group branch office in Madrid will be managed by Jorge Regúlez Pérez as Head of Southern Europe and Associate Director. He is responsible for real estate acquisitions and sales for Southern Europe from Madrid and continues to be responsible for the strategic and operational asset management of the Spanish real estate portfolio.

Jorge Regúlez Pérez has worked in the real estate sector for eight years. Before joining KanAm Grund Group, he was Head of Iberia at GLL Real Estate Partners, a Munich-based Macquarie Group company, where he was responsible for investments and asset management on the Iberian peninsula. His previous jobs included roles at the US-based investment manager Autonomy Capital, and at real estate consulting firm Aguirre Newman, where he began his professional career.

The Madrid office of KanAm Grund Group is in Torre Europa, a well-known high-rise building centrally located on Paseo de la Castellana in the AZCA quarter. 

The real estate market in Spain, and currently in Barcelona in particular, is becoming increasingly important in KanAm Grund Group’s investments. In 2021 alone, a total of six properties with a volume of around EUR 350 million were acquired. The total Spanish portfolio represents a market value of over EUR 450 million. Investments in this important market are also planned for 2022, and the first buildings are currently under review. 

In 2022, the KanAm Grund Group will thus once again expand its pan-European platform for investment and asset management, further strengthening its position as a German real estate company in the European real estate market.
