KanAm Grund Group: Best Asset Manager Retail Real Estate Europe
The KanAm Grund Group have received the Scope Award for Best Asset Manager - Retail Real Estate Europe for 2021. The reasoning given by the jury of the internationally renowned rating agency literally states: “The KanAm Grund Group shines with a low-risk mix of industries in LEADING CITIES INVEST, which shows its strengths against the background of the Covid-19 crisis. The provider's high level of transaction and acquisition competence resulted in a very good portfolio allocation. The jury also praised the high occupancy rate of 97.6 percent and the very high quality of the property portfolio compared to the peer group." The KanAm Grund Group has already received several awards and nominations from Scope. As recently in June 2020, Scope confirmed the current fund rating of LEADING CITIES INVEST with a+ (AIF) and the asset management rating of KanAm Grund Group of AA-AMR.
As the normal price giving event on the 26th November could not take place this year due to the Corona pandemic, the winners were surprised by an award presentation at their offices.
The Scope Investment Awards look back on a history of more than 10 years. The Scope Alternative Investment Awards have been presented since 2005. According to the rating agency, the Scope Award is the most traditional and most important award for fund and asset managers in German-speaking countries - for equity, bond and mixed funds (Scope Investment Awards) as well as for real assets and alternative investments (Scope Alternative Investment Awards). While all awards in our industry are based exclusively on quantitative criteria, the Scope Award also comprehensively takes qualitative criteria into account. The use of qualitative aspects increases the workload of the analysts significantly, but enables forward-looking statements on the quality of funds and managers.
