Frankfurt (April 10, 2018) – Management has been strengthened at the KanAm Grund Group in Frankfurt. Jan Jescow Stoehr (36), Director of risk management at the KanAm Grund Group, has been appointed a managing director of the KanAm Grund Kapitalverwaltungsgesellschaft effective as of April 1, 2018 where he is responsible for risk management, net asset valuation, compliance and data protection. In addition, Sascha Schadly (43), who has been Managing Director at KanAm Grund Institutional for the past two years with responsibility for fund management and sales, has also been appointed the new Managing Director of Fund Management at KanAm Grund Kapitalverwaltungsgesellschaft. In personnel terms, these represent significant and conclusive decisions in the strategic repositioning of the former German real estate fund issuing company as an international real estate enterprise under the auspices of the two managing partners, Hans-Joachim Kleinert and Olivier Catusse.

In his role as risk manager for the entire group, Jan Stoehr was most recently responsible for risk management of all special assets, individual portfolios and management companies administered. He has worked in a variety of positions in the KanAm Grund Group during the last 12 years and has a degree in economics from the University of Mannheim.

Sascha Schadly spent 10 years as a fund manager at the Frankfurt-based KanAm Grund Group before being appointed Managing Director of KanAm Grund Institutional in 2016. A trained real estate economist and real estate agent, he holds an MBA in International Property Management.
The Investment Management Team for Europe had already been strengthened in February through the addition of Anthony George Bull-Diamond (31) as a director with responsibility for real estate acquisition and sales focusing in particular on Great Britain, Central and Eastern Europe and the development of new investment markets. On the institutional business side, the 45-year-old banking specialist Mathias Dreyer has been the director in charge of the acquisition of investors and investor services, sales management for banks in Northern Germany and fund-raising management at KanAm Grund Institutional since the beginning of the year.

Additionally, new positions have also been created in the international division of asset management which have been filled through the appointment of two particularly experienced asset managers.

The KanAm Grund Group has handled a transaction volume of over 30 billion euros since it was established in October 2000. The owner-managed company focuses on the individual needs of German and international investors, with the geographical emphasis being in Europe and the United States. In order to set it up strategically to face the challenges of the future, the company was in recent years reorganized into three business divisions under the umbrella of the KanAm Grund Group: KanAm Grund Kapitalverwaltungsgesellschaft (an open-end real estate fund), KanAm Grund Institutional Kapitalverwaltungsgesellschaft (a special real estate fund) and the new KanAm Grund REAM (international investment & asset management advisory).

The aim of this strategic repositioning is the continuous development of the KanAm Grund Group into an international real estate enterprise which provides real estate investment and asset management services to German private investors, institutional investors and international investors alike, irrespective of the investment vehicles involved.
