Dr. Daniel Landgraf to strengthen the institutional business of KanAm Grund

KanAm Grund Group to strengthen the institutional business with the addition of Dr. Daniel Landgraf. In 2020, Landgraf, who has a degree in Business Administration and Engineering and a doctorate from the European Business School in Wiesbaden, Germany, will further develop and expand the extraordinary growth in the institutional investment business at KanAm Grund Institutional Kapitalverwaltungsgesellschaft mbH as Director and Head of Business Development. This year, the institutional investment business already made up around 75 percent of KanAm Grund Group’s transactions in Germany and Europe, totaling almost 2 billion euros. In addition, new real estate funds, specifically adapted to client requirements, such as the Fokus Norddeutschland Fonds for institutional investors from the banking sector, were launched. The KanAm Grund German Development Fonds, specializing in the particular category of real estate development projects, took off with a total of 6 projects in 2019. Moreover, KanAm Grund Group was able to successfully implement prestigious projects for German and international real estate investors in Edinburgh and Munich.

Dr. Daniel Landgraf is set to join KanAm Grund Group on 1 April 2020. Over the last 6 years, the 37-year-old has worked for GEG German Estate Group AG and DIC Asset AG. At DIC Asset AG he was consultant to the then CEO. He has been part of developing GEG German Estate Group AG, since its foundation as a subsidiary of DIC in 2015, acting in various roles including that of Head of Financing & Corporate Development and ultimately Head of Finance & Controlling.

At the same time as he takes up his position at KanAm Grund Institutional, Dr. Daniel Landgraf will also join the management of StepWise Capital GmbH, a subsidiary of KanAm Grund Group specializing in Alternative Investments.
